आविवेश महान् क्रोधो रावणं तं महामृधे ।
सूतं सञ्चोदयामास वाक्यं चेदमुवाच ह ॥६-१००-२॥
āviveśa mahān krodho rāvaṇaṃ taṃ mahāmṛdhe |
sūtaṃ sañcodayāmāsa vākyaṃ cedamuvāca ha ॥6-100-2॥
Translation
...a great anger possessed Ravana in that great battle. He urged his charioteer (to drive forward) and spoke these words.
हिंदी अनुवाद
...उस महायुद्ध में रावण को महान क्रोध आया। उसने सारथी को (रथ आगे बढ़ाने के लिए) प्रेरित किया और यह वचन कहा।
English Commentary
Witnessing the destruction of his warriors naturally incites Ravana's fury. The word 'āviveśa' (entered/possessed) suggests that anger completely took over his being. He can no longer remain a passive observer. Ordering the charioteer signals the commencement of the final phase, where the King himself steps into the fray for a decisive confrontation.

अपने वीर योद्धाओं के विनाश को देखकर रावण का क्रोधित होना स्वाभाविक है। यहाँ 'आविवेश' (प्रवेश किया) शब्द दर्शाता है कि क्रोध ने उसके पूरे अस्तित्व पर अधिकार कर लिया है। वह अब निष्क्रिय नहीं रह सकता। सारथी को आदेश देना यह संकेत है कि अब राजा स्वयं समरभूमि में निर्णायक युद्ध के लिए उतर रहा है।
