उभौ हि येन व्रज तस्तेन तेन शरोर्मयः ।
ऊर्मयो वायुना विद्धा जग्मुः सागरयोरिव ॥६-१००-३३॥
ubhau hi yena vrajatas-tena tena śarormayaḥ |
ūrmayo vāyunā viddhā jagmuḥ sāgarayoriva ॥6-100-33॥
Translation
Wherever they went, waves of arrows followed, just as waves move in two oceans driven by the wind.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वे दोनों जिधर-जिधर जाते थे, उधर-उधर बाणों की लहरें (समूह) वैसे ही चलती थीं, जैसे वायु से प्रेरित होकर दो सागरों की लहरें चलती हैं।
English Commentary
The movement of arrows mimicking ocean waves ('ūrmayo') driven by wind illustrates the fluid dynamics of the battle. The arrows aren't static; they flow with the warriors. It reinforces the oceanic metaphor for the armies and their leaders.

पुनः सागर की उपमा। उनकी गति के साथ बाणों की वर्षा भी दिशा बदलती थी। यह दृश्य ऐसा था मानो दो समुद्रों में वायु के कारण लहरें ('शरोर्मयः') उठ रही हों। यह युद्ध की व्यापकता और गतिशीलता का चित्रण है।
