मुमोच च महातेजाश्चापमायम्य वीर्यवान् ।
ते महामेघसङ्काशे कवचे पतिताः शराः ॥६-१००-३७॥
mumoca ca mahātejāścāpamāyamya vīryavān |
te mahāmeghasaṅkāśe kavace patitāḥ śarāḥ ॥6-100-37॥
Translation
...and drawing his bow, the mighty and resplendent one released them. Those arrows fell upon (Ravana's) armor, which resembled a great cloud.
हिंदी अनुवाद
...धनुष खींचकर वे बाण छोड़े। वे बाण (रावण के) विशाल बादल के समान (काले/मजबूत) कवच पर गिरे।
English Commentary
The target is Ravana's armor ('kavace'). Described as resembling a 'great cloud', the armor represents Ravana's formidable defense. Shri Rama aims to breach this protection using the power of the Raudra Astra.
हिंदी टीका
श्रीश्री राम ने रावण के कवच पर प्रहार किया। रावण का कवच 'महामेघसंकाशे' (विशाल बादल जैसा काला और अभेद्य) है। रौद्र अस्त्र से अभिमंत्रित बाण सीधे लक्ष्य पर लगे। यह रावण की सुरक्षा पंक्ति को तोड़ने का प्रयास है।
