अवध्ये राक्षसेन्द्रस्य न व्यथां जनयंस्तदा ।
पुनरेवाथ तं रामो रथस्थं राक्षसाधिपम् ॥६-१००-३८॥
avadhye rākṣasendrasya na vyathāṃ janayaṃstadā |
punarevātha taṃ rāmo rathasthaṃ rākṣasādhipam ॥6-100-38॥

Usually, Shri Rama's arrows are unstoppable, but here they fail against Ravana's 'avadhye' (indestructible) armor. This underscores the challenge Shri Rama faces—Ravana is protected by immense boons. Undeterred by the failure, Shri Rama immediately prepares for the next strike.

रावण का कवच ब्रह्माजी के वरदान से 'अवध्य' (अभिन्न) था। श्रीश्री राम के दिव्य बाण भी उसे भेद नहीं पाए। यह रावण की शक्ति का प्रमाण है। परंतु श्रीश्री राम निराश नहीं हुए, उन्होंने तुरंत दूसरा वार किया। यह दृढ़ता (perseverance) का पाठ है।
