पूरिता तेन शब्देन सनदीगिरिकानना ।
सञ्चचाल मही सर्वा सत्रस्तमृगद्विपा ॥६-१००-७॥
pūritā tena śabdena sanadīgirikānanā |
sañcacāla mahī sarvā satrastamṛgadvipā ॥6-100-7॥
Translation
Filled with that sound, the rivers, mountains, and forests echoed. The entire earth, with its frightened deer and elephants, trembled.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उस शब्द (रथ की घरघराहट) से नदियां, पर्वत और वन सब भर गए (गूंज उठे)। डरे हुए मृगों और हाथियों वाली पूरी पृथ्वी कांप उठी।
English Commentary
The impact of Ravana's advance is cosmic in scale, affecting nature itself. The sound is so intense that it permeates rivers and mountains. The trembling of the earth ('sañcacāla mahī') and the panic of animals illustrate the terrifying aura surrounding the Demon King's final charge.

रावण के प्रयाण का प्रभाव प्रकृति पर भी पड़ रहा है। रथ की ध्वनि इतनी तीव्र है कि पृथ्वी कांपने लगी ('सञ्चचाल मही')। पशु-पक्षी (मृग और द्विप) भयभीत हो गए। यह वर्णन रावण की आसुरी शक्ति और उसके आक्रमण की भीषणता को दर्शाता है।
