स मुहूर्तमनुध्याय बाष्पव्याकुललोचनः ।
बभूव संरब्धतरो युगान्त इव पावकः ॥६-१०१-३८॥
sa mūhūrtamanudhyāya bāṣpavyākulalōcanaḥ |
babhūva saṃrabdhatarō yugānta iva pāvakaḥ ॥6-101-38॥
Translation
He reflected for a moment with His eyes filled with tears, and then He became intensely agitated like the fire at the end of an eon.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वे एक क्षण तक विचार करते रहे, उनकी आँखें आंसुओं से व्याकुल थीं, फिर वे प्रलयकाल की अग्नि के समान अत्यंत उत्तेजित (क्रोधित) हो गए।
English Commentary
After grief, 'Vira Rasa' (heroism) and 'Raudra Rasa' (fury) begin to emerge. Shri Rama's tears were not of helplessness but a preamble to the fierce rage that would now completely annihilate Ravana. The analogy to the 'fire of dissolution' proves that His wrath will now accept no boundaries. This is the final, awakened form of the protector of Dharma.

शोक के बाद अब 'वीर रस' और 'रौद्र रस' का उदय हो रहा है। श्री राम के आँसू विवशता के नहीं, बल्कि उस प्रचंड क्रोध की भूमिका थे जो अब रावण का समूल नाश करने वाला था। 'यugānta-pāvaka' (प्रलय की अग्नि) की उपमा यह सिद्ध करती है कि अब श्री राम का कोप किसी भी सीमा को स्वीकार नहीं करेगा। यह धर्म के रक्षक का अंतिम जागृत स्वरूप है।
