अब्रवीच्छ हनूमन्तं सुग्रीवं चैव राघवः ।
लक्ष्मणं परिवार्येह तिष्ठध्वं वानरोत्तमाः ॥६-१०१-४६॥
abravīccha hanūmantaṃ sugrīvaṃ caiva rāghavaḥ |
lakṣmaṇaṃ parivāryēha tiṣṭhadhvaṃ vānarōttamāḥ ॥6-101-46॥
Translation
Shri Rama (the scion of Raghu) said to Hanuman and Sugriva: 'O foremost of monkeys! Stand here surrounding and guarding Lakshmana.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
श्री रघुनाथ जी ने हनुमान और सुग्रीव से कहा— हे श्रेष्ठ वानरों! तुम सब लक्ष्मण को घेरकर यहाँ इनकी रक्षा के लिए खड़े रहो।
English Commentary
Shri Rama delegates duties like a skilled military leader. He entrusts Hanuman and Sugriva with the responsibility of guarding Lakshmana. He intended to ensure no interruptions during the final duel between Him and Ravana. The word 'Parivarya' (surrounding) is a command to form an impenetrable security perimeter.

श्री राम यहाँ एक कुशल सेनापति की भांति कार्य का विभाजन कर रहे हैं। वे हनुमान जी और सुग्रीव जी को लक्ष्मण जी की सुरक्षा का दायित्व सौंपते हैं। वे चाहते थे कि अब उनके और रावण के बीच होने वाले अंतिम द्वंद्व में कोई बाधा न आए। 'परिवार्य' (घेरकर) शब्द एक अभेद्य सुरक्षा घेरा बनाने का आदेश है।
