सुग्रीवश्च कृतो राज्ये निहत्वा वालिनं रणे ।
यदर्थं सागरः क्रान्तः सेतुर्बद्धश्च सागरे ॥६-१०१-५२॥
sugrīvaśca kṛtō rājyē nihatvā vālinaṃ raṇē |
yadarthaṃ sāgaraḥ krāntaḥ sēturbaddhaśca sāgarē ॥6-101-52॥
Translation
For whose sake Sugriva was installed in the kingdom after slaying Vali in battle, and for whose sake the ocean was crossed and a bridge was built upon it—

जिसके लिए युद्ध में बाली का वध करके सुग्रीव को राज्य दिया गया, और जिसके लिए समुद्र को लांघा गया और उस पर सेतु बांधा गया—
English Commentary
Shri Rama summarizes His journey and major decisions so far. The slaying of Vali and the alliance with Sugriva were strategic necessities. Building the bridge over the ocean was a monumental feat. All these actions were performed for a single goal—the destruction of Ravana and the establishment of Dharma. This verse reflects the gravity of His epic struggle.

श्री राम यहाँ अपनी अब तक की यात्रा और बड़े निर्णयों का सारांश प्रस्तुत कर रहे हैं। बाली का वध और सुग्रीव की मैत्री सामरिक आवश्यकताएँ थीं। समुद्र पर सेतु बनाना एक असंभव प्रयास था। ये सभी कार्य केवल एक ही लक्ष्य—रावण के विनाश और धर्म की स्थापना—के लिए किए गए थे। यह श्लोक उनके महान संघर्ष की गम्भीरता को दर्शाता है।
