तानि चिच्छेद बाणौघैश्चक्राणि स तु राघवः ।
आयुधानि च चित्राणि रावणस्य चमूमुखे ॥६-१०१-९॥
tāni ciccheda bāṇaughaiścakrāṇi sa tu rāghavaḥ |
āyudhāni ca citrāṇi rāvaṇasya camūmukhe ॥6-101-9॥
Translation
Shri Rama, the scion of Raghu, shattered those discs and other various weapons of Ravana at the front of the army with volleys of arrows.
हिंदी अनुवाद
श्री रघुनाथ जी ने बाणों के समूहों से रावण के उन चक्रों और सेना के सम्मुख उपस्थित अन्य विचित्र शस्त्रों को काट दिया।
English Commentary
Shri Rama's response was efficient and infallible. He decimated the clusters of discs with His arrows. The word 'Banaughaih' signifies His continuous and dense volleys. Shri Rama demonstrates that a single shaft of Truth is capable of destroying multiple stratagems of unrighteousness.
हिंदी टीका
श्री राम का उत्तर अत्यंत संक्षिप्त और अमोघ था। उन्होंने चक्रों के समूहों को अपने बाणों से नष्ट कर दिया। यहाँ 'बाणौघैः' शब्द उनके निरंतर और सघन प्रहारों को सूचित करता है। श्री राम सिद्ध कर रहे हैं कि सत्य का एक बाण अधर्म के अनेक प्रपंचों को नष्ट करने में सक्षम है।
