अस्मिन् हि शिखरे जातामोषधीं तां सुखावहाम् ।
प्रतर्केणावगच्छामि सुषेणो ऽप्येवमब्रवीत् ॥६-१०२-२६॥
asmin hi śikhare jātāmoṣadhīṃ tāṃ sukhāvahām |
pratarkeṇāvagacchāmi suṣeṇo 'pyevamabravīt ॥6-102-26॥
Translation
I perceive through inference that the beneficial herb grows on this very peak; Sushena also said the same.
हिंदी अनुवाद
इसी शिखर पर वह सुखदायक औषधि उत्पन्न हुई है— सुषेण ने भी ऐसा ही बताया था और मुझे भी यही अनुमान (तर्क) हो रहा है।
English Commentary
Shri Hanuman employs 'Pratarka' (inference or logic) here. He was at the correct location, but the divine herbs had become elusive (perhaps concealing their forms). This verse highlights Hanuman's intelligence in identifying the spot, even if the specific plants remained obscured from His vision.
हिंदी टीका
हनुमान जी यहाँ 'प्रतर्क' (तर्क या अनुमान) का प्रयोग कर रहे हैं। वे सही स्थान पर थे, किन्तु औषधियाँ अपनी दिव्य शक्ति से ओझल हो गई थीं (अथवा उन्होंने अपना रूप छिपा लिया था)। यह श्लोक हनुमान जी की बुद्धिमत्ता को दर्शाता है कि वे स्थान की पहचान तो कर पा रहे थे, किन्तु सूक्ष्म वस्तुओं की नहीं।
