फुल्लनानातरुगणं समुत्पाट्य महाबलः ।
गृहीत्वा हरिशार्दूलो हस्ताभ्यां समतोलयत् ॥६-१०२-२९॥
phullanānātarugaṇaṃ samutpāṭya mahābalaḥ |
gṛhītvā hariśārdūlo hastābhyāṃ samatolayat ॥6-102-29॥
Translation
That mighty tiger among monkeys uprooted the entire peak covered with various flowering trees and balanced it between His two hands.
हिंदी अनुवाद
अनेक खिले हुए वृक्षों से युक्त उस विशाल शिखर को उन महाबली वानर-शार्दूल ने उखाड़ लिया और अपने दोनों हाथों से उसे तौल लिया (संभाला)।
English Commentary
Shri Hanuman devised a profoundly original solution—if the herb cannot be found, take the whole mountain. The word 'Samatolayat' (balanced/weighed) indicates His effortless strength, as if the entire peak were a mere toy. This reinforces His image as 'Sankat-mochan' (remover of troubles), where He diminishes any obstacle through His own prowess.

हनुमान जी ने एक अत्यंत मौलिक समाधान खोजा—यदि औषधि नहीं मिली, तो पूरे पर्वत को ही ले चलो। 'समतोलयत्' (तौल लिया) शब्द उनकी सहज शक्ति को दर्शाता है, मानो पूरा पहाड़ उनके लिए एक गेंद के समान हो। यह उनकी 'संकटमोचन' छवि को पुष्ट करता है, जहाँ वे किसी भी बाधा को अपने पुरुषार्थ से छोटा कर देते हैं।
