अब्रवीच्च परिष्वज्य सौमित्रिं राघवस्तदा ।
दिष्ट्या त्वां वीर पश्यामि मरणात् पुनरागतम् ॥६-१०२-३९॥
abravīcca pariṣvajya saumitriṃ rāghavastadā |
diṣṭyā tvāṃ vīra paśyāmi maraṇāt punarāgatam ॥6-102-39॥
Translation
Then, embracing the son of Sumitra, the scion of Raghu said: 'O Hero! By good fortune, I see You returned from the jaws of death.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
तब सुमित्रानन्दन लक्ष्मण को गले लगाकर श्री रघुनाथ जी बोले— 'हे वीर! यह सौभाग्य (दिष्ट्या) है कि मैं तुम्हें मृत्यु के मुख से वापस आया हुआ देख रहा हूँ' ।
English Commentary
Shri Rama expresses His gratitude to 'Dishtya' (good fortune or divine providence). He acknowledges that Lakshmana's survival is a miracle. The phrase 'returned from death' recalls the previous direness of the situation. Here, Shri Rama's simple and loving heart speaks, feeling blessed to have His brother back.

श्री राम यहाँ 'दिष्ट्या' (सौभाग्य या दैव कृपा) का आभार मानते हैं। वे स्वीकार करते हैं कि लक्ष्मण जी का बचना एक चमत्कार है। 'मृत्यु से वापसी' शब्द स्थिति की पूर्व भयंकरता को याद दिलाते हैं। यहाँ श्री राम का सरल और प्रेमी हृदय बोल रहा है, जो अपने भाई को पाकर स्वयं को धन्य मान रहा है।
