ते तान् सर्वान् शरान् जघ्नुः सर्परूपान् महाजवान् ।
सुपर्णरूपा रामस्य विशिखाः कामरूपिणः ॥६-१०३-२३॥
te tān sarvān śarān jaghnuḥ sarparūpān mahājavān |
suparṇarūpā rāmasya viśikhāḥ kāmarūpiṇaḥ ॥6-103-23॥
Translation
Those arrows of Shri Rama in the form of Garudas, capable of changing form at will, destroyed all those very swift arrows in the form of serpents.
हिंदी अनुवाद
इच्छानुसार रूप धारण करने वाले (कामरूपी), गरुड़ रूपी श्री राम के उन बाणों ने सर्प रूपी उन सभी महावेगवान बाणों को नष्ट कर दिया।
English Commentary
The Garuda-arrows wiped out the serpents. The term 'kamarupinah' (changing form at will) suggests these arrows were sentient and capable of chasing down their targets. Ravana's Rakshasa Astra was neutralized.
हिंदी टीका
गरुड़ रूपी बाणों ने सर्पों का सफाया कर दिया। 'कामरूपिणः' (इच्छानुसार रूप बदलने वाले) शब्द यह बताता है कि ये बाण चेतन थे और लक्ष्य का पीछा करके उसे नष्ट करने में सक्षम थे। रावण का राक्षस अस्त्र विफल हो गया।
