तस्य क्रुद्धस्य वदनं दृष्ट्वा रामस्य धीमतः ।
सर्वभूतानि वित्रेसुः प्राकम्पत च मेदिनी ॥६-१०४-१॥
tasya kruddhasya vadanaṃ dṛṣṭvā rāmasya dhīmataḥ |
sarvabhūtāni vitresuḥ prākampata ca medinī ॥6-104-1॥
Translation
Seeing the face of the wise Shri Rama filled with anger, all beings were terrified, and the earth trembled.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उस समय बुद्धिमान श्रीश्री राम के क्रुद्ध मुख को देखकर सभी प्राणी भयभीत हो गए और पृथ्वी कांपने लगी।
English Commentary
Shri Rama is typically known for his calm demeanor. Seeing him 'kruddha' (angry) is a rare cosmic event, signaling imminent destruction for the wicked. The adjective 'dhīmataḥ' (wise) implies that this anger is not a loss of control, but a deliberate, righteous wrath. The trembling of the earth ('prākampata ca medinī') signifies that nature itself recognizes the terrifying power of the Lord when he decides to punish.

श्रीश्री राम स्वभाव से शांत और प्रसन्नचित्त ('प्रसन्नात्मा') रहते हैं। उनका क्रोधित होना एक दुर्लभ और प्रलयंकारी घटना है। 'धीमतः' (बुद्धिमान) विशेषण यह दर्शाता है कि उनका क्रोध अनियंत्रित नहीं, बल्कि धर्म की रक्षा के लिए जागृत हुआ विवेकपूर्ण रोष है। जब मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम क्रोधित होते हैं, तो चराचर जगत कांप उठता है, क्योंकि यह अधर्म के विनाश का संकेत है।
