सिंहशार्दूलवान् शैलः सञ्चचाल चलद्रुमः ।
बभूव चातिक्षुभितः समुद्रः सरितां पतिः ॥६-१०४-२॥
siṃhaśārdūlavān śailaḥ sañcacāla caladrumaḥ |
babhūva cātikṣubhitaḥ samudraḥ saritāṃ patiḥ ॥6-104-2॥
Translation
The mountain, inhabited by lions and tigers, shook; the trees tottered; and the Ocean, the lord of rivers, became extremely agitated.
हिंदी अनुवाद
सिंहों और व्याघ्रों से युक्त पर्वत हिलने लगा, वृक्ष डगमगाने लगे और सरिताओं (नदियों) का स्वामी समुद्र अत्यंत क्षुब्ध हो उठा।
English Commentary
The turmoil in nature reflects the intensity of the situation. Mountains ('śailaḥ') and the Ocean ('samudraḥ'), symbols of stability and depth, are shaken by Shri Rama's fury. श्रीश्री राम के क्रोध का प्रभाव केवल शत्रु सेना पर नहीं, बल्कि प्रकृति के मूल तत्वों पर भी पड़ रहा है। पर्वत, जो स्थिरता के प्रतीक हैं, वे भी हिल गए। समुद्र, जो अपनी गंभीरता के लिए जाना जाता है, वह भी 'अतिक्षुभित' (अत्यंत अशांत) हो गया। यह दृश्य दर्शाता है कि परमात्मा के कोप के सामने प्रकृति भी अस्थिर हो जाती है।
