तच्छूलं परमक्रुद्धो मध्ये जग्राह वीर्यवान् ।
अनेकैः समरे शूरै राक्षसैः परिवारितः ॥६-१०४-१३॥
tacchūlaṃ paramakruddho madhye jagrāha vīryavān |
anekaiḥ samare śūrai rākṣasaiḥ parivāritaḥ ॥6-104-13॥
Translation
Surrounded by many heroic Rakshasas in the battle, the extremely angry and mighty Ravana grasped that Shula in the middle.
हिंदी अनुवाद
युद्ध में अनेक शूरवीर राक्षसों से घिरे हुए, परम क्रुद्ध एवं वीर्यवान रावण ने उस शूल को बीच से पकड़ा।
English Commentary
Despite the heavy losses, Ravana is still protected by a circle of elite guards. Grasping the weapon in the 'middle' signifies readiness to hurl it with maximum force and balance. The scene captures the tension before the throw.
हिंदी टीका
रावण अकेला नहीं है, अभी भी कुछ 'शूरवीर राक्षस' उसके साथ हैं जो उसकी रक्षा कर रहे हैं। शूल को 'मध्य' में पकड़ना उसे फेंकने के लिए संतुलन बनाने का संकेत है। यह अंतिम प्रहार की तैयारी है।
