तिष्ठेदानीं निहन्मि त्वामेष शूलेन राघव ।
एवमुक्त्वा स चिक्षेप तच्छूलं राक्षसाधिपः ॥६-१०४-२०॥
tiṣṭhedānīṃ nihanmi tvāmeṣa śūlena rāghava |
evamuktvā sa cikṣepa tacchūlaṃ rākṣasādhipaḥ ॥6-104-20॥
Translation
"Stand still now! I shall kill you with this Shula, O Raghava!" Saying this, the Lord of Rakshasas hurled that Shula.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे राघव! अब खड़े रहो (भागो मत), मैं तुम्हें इस शूल से मारता हूँ। ऐसा कहकर उस राक्षसराज ने वह शूल फेंक दिया।
English Commentary
The command 'tiṣṭha' (stand/wait) is a classic warrior's challenge, daring the opponent not to flee. Ravana moves from threat to action, hurling the massive weapon with the intent of ending Shri Rama's life.

रावण चुनौती देता है—'तिष्ठ' (खड़े रहो/सामना करो)। यह अंतिम चेतावनी देकर उसने पूरी शक्ति से शूल चला दिया। यह वाकयुद्ध का अंत और निर्णायक भौतिक प्रहार का आरंभ है।
