स रामबाणैरभिविद्धगात्रो निशाचरेन्द्रः क्षतजार्द्रगात्रः ।
जगाम खेदं च समाजमध्ये क्रोधं च चक्रे सुभृशं तदानीम् ॥६-१०४-३२॥
sa rāmabāṇairabhividdhagātro niśācarendraḥ kṣatajārdragātraḥ |
jagāma khedaṃ ca samājamadhye krodhaṃ ca cakre subhṛśaṃ tadānīm ॥6-104-32॥
Translation
With his body pierced by Shri Rama's arrows and wet with blood, the Lord of Night-wanderers felt exhaustion/pain in the midst of the assembly (battlefield) and simultaneously became exceedingly angry at that time.
हिंदी अनुवाद
श्री राम के बाणों से बिंधे शरीर वाला और खून से लथपथ अंगों वाला वह निशाचरराज (रावण), समाज (युद्ध/सेना) के बीच में खेद (ग्लानि/थकावट) को प्राप्त हुआ और उस समय अत्यंत क्रोधित भी हुआ।
English Commentary
The canto ends with Ravana physically battered and emotionally turbulent. He feels 'kheda' (pain/exhaustion/despair) from the wounds but this transforms into 'subhṛśaṃ krodhaṃ' (intense anger). Being humiliated in front of his army ('samājamadhye') fuels his rage, setting the stage for his final, desperate stand.

सर्ग का समापन रावण की मिश्रित मनोदशा के साथ होता है। वह घायल है, थका हुआ ('खेदं') है, और सबके सामने पिटने से अपमानित भी है। इस पीड़ा और अपमान ने उसके क्रोध ('क्रोधं') को और भड़का दिया है। यह घायल शेर की स्थिति है जो अब और भी खतरनाक हो सकता है।
