मया विरहितां दीनां वर्तमानां महावने ।
वैदेहीं प्रसभं हृत्वा शूरो ऽहमिति मन्यसे ॥६-१०५-१२॥
mayā virahitāṃ dīnāṃ vartamānāṃ mahāvane |
vaidehīṃ prasabhaṃ hṛtvā śūro 'hamiti manyase ॥6-105-12॥
Translation
Having forcibly abducted Sita in the great forest while She was alone, wretched, and separated from me, do you still consider yourself a hero?
हिंदी अनुवाद
मेरे बिना उस विशाल वन में अकेली और दुखी वैदेही (सीता) को बलपूर्वक हर ले जाने के बाद भी तुम स्वयं को शूरवीर मानते हो?
English Commentary
Shri Rama exposes the immoral act that Ravana considered a conquest. The phrase 'separated from me' proves Ravana's cowardice, as he lacked the courage to face Shri Rama directly during the abduction. This verse reflects the righteous indignation of Shri Rama regarding the injustice committed against His wife.

श्री राम रावण के उस अनैतिक कृत्य को उजागर कर रहे हैं जिसे वह अपनी विजय मानता था। 'मेरे बिना' (मया विरहिताम्) शब्द रावण की कायरता को सिद्ध करते हैं कि वह श्री राम के सामने आने का साहस नहीं कर सका था। यह श्लोक धर्म-प्राण श्री राम के उस क्षोभ को दर्शाता है जो अपनी पत्नी के प्रति हुए अन्याय के कारण उनके हृदय में है।
