शुभान्येतानि चिह्नानि विज्ञायात्मगतानि सः ।
भूय एवार्दयद्रामो रावणं राक्षसान्तकृत् ॥६-१०५-२६॥
śubhānyētāni cihnāni vijñāyātmagatāni saḥ |
bhūya ēvārdayadrāmō rāvaṇaṃ rākṣasāntakṛt ॥6-105-26॥
Translation
Recognizing these auspicious signs within Himself, Shri Rama, the destroyer of Rakshasas, began to torment Ravana even further.

अपने भीतर इन शुभ चिह्नों और लक्षणों को जानकर, राक्षसों का अंत करने वाले श्री राम ने रावण को और अधिक पीड़ित करना आरम्भ किया।
English Commentary
The 'Auspicious signs' ('Shubhani Cihnani') were divine assurances of victory. Shri Rama sensed that nature and destiny were now in His total support. The term 'Rakshasantakrit' (end-maker of Rakshasas) recalls the purpose of His incarnation. For Ravana, only agony and destruction remained from this point onward.

'शुभानि चिह्नानि' (शुभ संकेत) विजय के दैवीय आश्वासन थे। श्री राम ने अनुभव किया कि प्रकृति और भाग्य अब उनके पूर्ण समर्थन में हैं। 'रक्षसान्तकृत' शब्द उनके उस अवतार कार्य को याद दिलाता है जिसके लिए वे अवतरित हुए थे। रावण के लिए अब केवल पीड़ा और विनाश ही शेष था।
