Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
पूरितः शरजालेन धनुर्मुक्तेन संयुगे ।
महागिरिरिवाकम्प्यः काकुत्स्थो न प्रकम्पते ॥६-१०५-४॥
pūritaḥ śarajālena dhanurmuktena saṃyuge |
mahāgiririvākampyaḥ kākutstho na prakampate ॥6-105-4॥
Translation
Even when completely covered by the net of arrows released from the bow in battle, Shri Rama, the glory of the Kakutstha lineage, remained as unshakeable as a great mountain and did not tremble at all.
हिंदी अनुवाद
युद्ध में धनुष से छोड़े गए बाणों के उस जाल से पूरी तरह ढक जाने पर भी, ककुत्स्थ कुल के गौरव श्री राम पर्वत के समान अविचल बने रहे और तनिक भी नहीं कांपे।
English Commentary
This verse reveals Shri Rama's immovable fortitude and divine stability. The analogy of a 'great mountain' serves as a testament to His mental and physical firmness. The enemy's strikes cannot disturb Him. This offers a message to devotees that one who walks the path of Truth remains as steadfast as the Himalayas, even amidst a rain of calamities.

यह श्लोक श्री राम के अचल धैर्य और उनकी ईश्वरीय स्थिरता को प्रकट करता है। 'महागिरि' (विशाल पर्वत) की उपमा उनके मानसिक और शारीरिक दृढ़ता का प्रमाण है। शत्रु के प्रहार उन्हें विचलित नहीं कर सकते। यह भक्तों के लिए एक संदेश है कि सत्य के मार्ग पर चलने वाला व्यक्ति संकटों की बाण-वर्षा में भी हिमालय की भाँति अडिग रहता है।
