शराभिघातसंरब्धः सो ऽपि जग्राह सायकान् ।
काकुत्स्थः सुमहातेजा युगान्तादित्यतेजसः ॥६-१०५-८॥
śarābhighātasaṃrabdhaḥ so 'pi jagrāha sāyakān |
kākutsthaḥ sumahātejā yugāntādityatejasaḥ ॥6-105-8॥
Translation
Provoked by the impact of the arrows, the highly radiant Shri Rama, of the Kakutstha lineage, also took up arrows that possessed the brilliance of the sun at the end of an eon.
हिंदी अनुवाद
बाणों के प्रहार से उत्तेजित होकर अत्यंत तेजस्वी ककुत्स्थ कुल के श्री राम ने भी प्रलयकाल के सूर्य के समान तेजस्वी बाणों को हाथ में ले लिया।
English Commentary
Shri Rama's fierce form now emerges. The analogy to the 'Sun of Dissolution' ('Yugantaditya') signifies the infallible destructive power of His arrows. Ravana's strikes have fully awakened His Kshatriya brilliance. This verse portrays the moment the Lord gives shape to His resolve for justice through His weaponry. The battle was poised to become decisive from here on.

अब श्री राम के रौद्र रूप का उदय हो रहा है। 'युगान्तादित्य' (प्रलय का सूर्य) की उपमा उनके बाणों की अचूक संहारक शक्ति को दर्शाती है। रावण के प्रहारों ने उनके क्षत्रिय तेज को पूरी तरह जाग्रत कर दिया है। यह श्लोक उस क्षण का चित्रण है जब भगवान अपने प्रतिशोध के संकल्प को शस्त्रों का रूप देते हैं। अब युद्ध एक तरफा होने वाला था।
