श्रूयतां त्वभिधास्यामि यन्निमित्तं मया रथः ।
नदीवेग इवाभोगे संयुगे विनिवर्तितः ॥६-१०६-१४॥
śrūyatāṃ tvabhidhāsyāmi yannimittaṃ mayā rathaḥ |
nadīvega ivābhoge saṃyuge vinivartitaḥ ॥6-106-14॥
Translation
"Listen, I shall tell you the reason why I turned the chariot back from that battle which was like the force of a river (in full expanse)."
हिंदी अनुवाद
"सुनिए, मैं बताता हूँ कि किस कारण से मैंने नदी के वेग के समान (विस्तृत/प्रचंड) उस युद्ध से रथ को लौटाया।"
English Commentary
Now the charioteer proceeds to provide the logical rationale for his decision. The battle is compared to a 'river current', which is hard to resist. The charioteer made this decision not out of emotion but based on solid reasoning.

अब सारथी अपने निर्णय का तार्किक कारण (Rationale) देने जा रहा है। युद्ध की तुलना 'नदी वेग' से की गई है, जिससे बचना कठिन होता है। सारथी ने केवल भावुकता में नहीं, बल्कि ठोस कारणों से यह निर्णय लिया था।
