Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
ततो द्रुतं रावणवाक्यचोदितः प्रचोदयामास हयान् स सारथिः ।
स राक्षसेन्द्रस्य ततो महारथः क्षणेन रामस्य रणाग्रतोऽभवत् ॥६-१०६-२७॥
tato drutaṃ rāvaṇavākyacoditaḥ pracodayāmāsa hayān sa sārathiḥ |
sa rākṣasendrasya tato mahārathaḥ kṣaṇena rāmasya raṇāgrato'bhavat ॥6-106-27॥
Translation
Then, urged by Ravana's words, that charioteer drove the horses swiftly. Thereafter, that great chariot of the Rakshasa King appeared before Shri Rama on the battlefront in a moment.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तब रावण के वचनों से प्रेरित उस सारथी ने घोड़ों को तेजी से चलाया। तदनन्तर राक्षसराज का वह महारथ क्षण भर में श्री राम के युद्ध के मुहाने (सामने) पर आ पहुँचा।
English Commentary
The charioteer urged the horses, and they ran with the speed of wind. In a 'kshanena' (moment), they were back on the battlefield. This verse concludes the prelude to the final duel of the Ramayana. Ravana now stands before his destiny (Shri Rama).

सारथी ने घोड़ों को प्रेरित किया और वे वायुवेग से दौड़े। 'क्षणेन' (क्षण भर में) वे वापस रणभूमि में थे। यह श्लोक श्री रामायण के अंतिम द्वंद्व की भूमिका (prelude) को समाप्त करता है। रावण अब अपने भाग्य (श्री राम) के सामने खड़ा है।
