तप्तचामीकराभाय वह्नये विश्वकर्मणे ।
नमस्तमोभिनिघ्नाय रुचये लोकसाक्षिणे ॥६-१०७-२१॥
taptacāmīkarābhāya vahnaye viśvakarmaṇe |
namastamobhinighnāya rucaye lokasākṣiṇe ॥6-107-21॥
Translation
"Salutations to the one shining like molten gold, to the Fire, to the Architect of the Universe (Vishvakarma), to the destroyer of darkness, to the Splendor, and to the Witness of the World."
हिंदी अनुवाद
तपाए हुए सोने के समान आभा वाले, अग्नि स्वरूप, विश्वकर्मा (संसार के रचयिता), अंधकार के नाशक, प्रकाश स्वरूप और लोकसाक्षी को नमस्कार।
English Commentary
Surya is the 'Lokasakshi' (Eternal Witness) of all deeds. He witnesses the Dharma of Shri Rama and the Adharma of Ravana. As 'Vishvakarma', he is the supreme agent of action. Shri Rama bows to the ultimate witness and judge of the battlefield.

सूर्य 'लोकसाक्षी' हैं—वे श्री राम और रावण के कर्मों को देख रहे हैं। वे 'विश्वकर्मा' हैं, यानी क्रिया शक्ति के स्रोत। 'तप्तचामीकराभाय' (पिघले सोने जैसी चमक) उनके दिव्य सौंदर्य का वर्णन है। साक्षी रूप में वे न्यायकर्ता भी हैं।
