Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
पूजयस्वैनमेकाग्रो देवदेवं जगत्पतिम् ।
एतत्रिगुणितं जप्त्वा युद्धेषु विजयिष्यसि ॥६-१०७-२६॥
pūjayasvainamekāgro devadevaṃ jagatpatim |
etattriguṇitaṃ japtvā yuddheṣu vijayiṣyasi ॥6-107-26॥
Translation
"Worship this God of gods, the Lord of the Universe, with a one-pointed mind. Chanting this three times, you will conquer in the battles."
हिंदी अनुवाद
तुम एकाग्रचित्त होकर इन देवों के देव, जगतपति की पूजा करो। इस (आदित्यहृदय) का तीन बार जप करने से तुम युद्ध में विजय प्राप्त करोगे।
English Commentary
The method of sadhana is prescribed: 'Ekagra' (single-pointed focus). Agastya advises chanting it 'trigunitam' (three times), a sacred number in Vedic rituals implying completeness. This instruction aims to gather Shri Rama's mental energies for the decisive strike.

सफलता की कुंजी 'एकाग्रता' (focus) है। अगस्त्य मुनि विधि बताते हैं—'त्रिगुणितं जप्त्वा' (तीन बार जप करके)। वैदिक परंपरा में 'आचमन' करके तीन बार जप करना संकल्प और सिद्धि का सूचक है। यह श्रीश्री राम के बिखरे हुए मन को केंद्रित करने का उपाय है।
