राम राम महाबाहो शृणु गुह्यं सनातनम् ।
येन सर्वानरीन् वत्स समरे विजयिष्यसि ॥६-१०७-३॥
rāma rāma mahābāho śṛṇu guhyaṃ sanātanam |
yena sarvānarīn vatsa samare vijayiṣyasi ॥6-107-3॥
Translation
"O Shri Rama, O Shri Rama of mighty arms! Listen to this eternal secret, by which, O my child, you will conquer all enemies in battle."
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे श्री राम! हे महाबाहु श्री राम! उस सनातन गोपनीय स्तोत्र को सुनो, जिसके द्वारा हे वत्स! तुम युद्ध में अपने समस्त शत्रुओं पर विजय प्राप्त करोगे।
English Commentary
Sage Agastya addresses Shri Rama as 'Mahabaho' (Mighty-armed) to remind him of his inherent warrior strength. He imparts the 'guhyam sanatanam' (eternal secret), implying that this wisdom is timeless Vedic knowledge. The term of endearment 'Vatsa' (child) shows the Guru's affection. The promise that this hymn will enable him to conquer 'all enemies' is intended to instantly boost Shri Rama's morale.

अगस्त्य मुनि श्रीश्री राम को 'महाबाहु' कहकर संबोधित करते हैं ताकि उन्हें उनके क्षत्रिय बल का स्मरण कराया जा सके। वे उन्हें 'गुह्यं सनातनम्' (शाश्वत रहस्य) प्रदान कर रहे हैं। यह ज्ञान कोई नया आविष्कार नहीं, बल्कि अनादि वैदिक ज्ञान है। 'वत्स' (बेटा) संबोधन गुरु के वात्सल्य को दर्शाता है। यह आश्वासन कि इससे 'सर्व शत्रुओं' पर विजय मिलेगी, श्रीश्री राम के आत्मविश्वास को पुनः जगाने के लिए है।
