Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
सर्वदेवात्मको ह्येष तेजस्वी रश्मिभावनः ।
एष देवासुरगणान् लोकान् पाति गभिस्तिभिः ॥६-१०७-७॥
sarvadevātmako hyeṣa tejasvī raśmibhāvanaḥ |
eṣa devāsuragaṇān lokān pāti gabhastibhiḥ ॥6-107-7॥
Translation
"He indeed embodies all the gods within himself. He is full of glory and creates/sustains beings with his rays. He protects the worlds of the gods and demons with his rays."
हिंदी अनुवाद
निस्संदेह ये (सूर्य) सर्वदेवात्मक (सभी देवताओं का स्वरूप) हैं। ये तेजस्वी हैं और अपनी किरणों से जगत को सत्ता एवं स्फूर्ति देते हैं। ये अपनी किरणों (गभस्तिभिः) द्वारा देवताओं और असुरों के लोकों का पालन करते हैं।
English Commentary
This verse presents the theological concept of 'Sarvadevatmaka'—that the Sun embodies all deities. It reflects a henotheistic or monistic view where Surya is the source of all divine power. He is not just an illuminator but the sustainer ('pati') of all worlds, providing the vital energy (Prana) needed for survival and victory.

यहाँ सूर्य के 'सर्वदेवात्मक' स्वरूप का वर्णन है, जिसका अर्थ है कि सभी देवी-देवता सूर्य के ही विभिन्न रूप हैं (एकेश्वरवाद)। वे केवल प्रकाश नहीं देते, बल्कि 'पाति' (पालन/रक्षा) भी करते हैं। युद्ध में विजय के लिए जिस तेज और प्राणशक्ति की आवश्यकता है, उसके मूल स्रोत सूर्य ही हैं।
