जग्राह सुमहावेगमैन्द्रं युधि शरासनम् ।
शरांश्च सुमहातेजाः सूर्यरश्मिसमप्रभान् ॥६-१०८-१७॥
jagrāha sumahāvēgamaindraṃ yudhi śarāsanam |
śarāṃśca sumahātējāḥ sūryaraśmisamaprabhān ॥6-108-17॥
Translation
The highly radiant Shri Rama took up the great-speeded Aindra bow in the battle, along with arrows that possessed the brilliance of sunbeams.
हिंदी अनुवाद
अत्यंत तेजस्वी श्री राम ने युद्ध में इन्द्र का वह महावेग वाला धनुष और सूर्य की किरणों के समान चमकते हुए बाण हाथ में ले लिए।
English Commentary
Shri Rama now employs the 'Aindra bow' sent by Indra. Arrows shining 'like sunbeams' are symbols of divine light destined to dispel the darkness of ignorance and unrighteousness. This verse marks the point where physical weapons are entirely replaced by celestial missiles. This manifestation of Shri Rama provides a glimpse of Lord Vishnu's destructive persona.

श्री राम अब इन्द्र द्वारा भेजे गए 'ऐन्द्र धनुष' का प्रयोग कर रहे हैं। 'सूर्यरश्मि-समप्रभान्' (सूर्य की किरणों जैसे चमकते) बाण अज्ञान और अधर्म के अंधकार को मिटाने वाले दिव्य प्रकाश के प्रतीक हैं। यह श्लोक युद्ध के उस मोड को दर्शाता है जहाँ अब भौतिक शस्त्रों का स्थान पूर्णतः दिव्य अस्त्रों ने ले लिया है। श्री राम का यह स्वरूप साक्षात् विष्णु के संहारक रूप का दर्शन कराता है।
