स नेमिघोषेण महान् सहसाभिविनादयन् ।
राजमार्गं श्रिया जुष्टं प्रतिपेदे महारथः ॥६-११-१०॥
sa nemighoṣeṇa mahān sahasābhivinādayan । rājamārgaṃ śriyā juṣṭaṃ pratipede mahārathaḥ ॥6-11-10॥
Translation
That great chariot, suddenly making the atmosphere resound with the noise of its wheels, entered the royal highway possessed of splendor.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वह विशाल महारथ, अपने पहियों की घरघराहट (नेमिघोष) से सहसा (वातावरण को) गुंजाता हुआ, शोभा से युक्त राजमार्ग पर पहुँचा।
English Commentary
The Procession. The chariot enters the 'Rajamarga' (Royal Highway). The thunderous sound of the wheels signifies the rolling juggernaut of Ravana's ambition. The highway itself is described as beautiful, reflecting the city's glory.

राजमार्ग पर प्रवेश। रथ के पहियों की आवाज ('नेमिघोष') बादलों की गड़गड़ाहट जैसी है। 'श्रिया जुष्टं' (शोभा से युक्त) राजमार्ग लंका की समृद्धि और सुव्यवस्थित नगर-योजना (Town Planning) का प्रमाण है।
