रम्यायां राक्षसेन्द्रस्य समेयुस्तत्र सङ्घशः ।
राक्षसा राक्षसश्रेष्ठं परिवार्योपतस्थिरे ॥६-११-२८॥
ramyāyāṃ rākṣasendrasya sameyustatra saṅghaśaḥ । rākṣasā rākṣasaśreṣṭhaṃ parivāryopatasthire ॥6-11-28॥
Translation
In that beautiful assembly of the King of Rakshasas, they gathered in groups and sat surrounding the best of Rakshasas.
हिंदी अनुवाद
राक्षसेन्द्र की उस रमणीय सभा में वे (राक्षस) समूहों में एकत्र हुए और राक्षसश्रेष्ठ (रावण) को घेरकर बैठ गए।
English Commentary
The Tableau. The circular or semi-circular arrangement focuses all attention on Ravana. The beauty of the hall contrasts with the tense atmosphere of the impending war council.

दृश्य। रावण केंद्र में है और बाकी उसे घेरे हुए हैं। यह 'सौर मंडल' जैसा दृश्य है जहाँ राजा सूर्य है और मंत्री ग्रह। सभा 'रमणीय' (सुंदर) है, लेकिन चर्चा गंभीर होगी।
