गदानां मुसलानां च परिघाणां च निस्वनैः ।
शराणां पुङ्खपातैश्च क्षुभिताः सप्त सागराः ॥६-११०-१७॥
gadānāṃ musalānāṃ ca parighāṇāṃ ca nisvanaiḥ |
śarāṇāṃ puṅkhapātaiśca kṣubhitāḥ sapta sāgarāḥ ॥6-110-17॥
Translation
By the sounds of maces, pestles, and clubs, and by the falling/movement of the feathered ends of arrows, the seven oceans became agitated.
हिंदी अनुवाद
गदाओं, मूसलों और परिघों के (टकराने के) शब्दों से तथा बाणों के पिछले भाग (पुंख) के गिरने/चलने की हवा से सातों समुद्र क्षुब्ध हो गए।
English Commentary
The impact of the war was global. The sound and velocity of weapons agitated the 'seven oceans' (of mythological geography). This indicates that the war was not limited to Lanka but shook the balance of nature itself.

युद्ध का प्रभाव वैश्विक था। हथियारों की ध्वनि और वेग ने 'सप्त सागरों' (पौराणिक भूगोल के अनुसार सात समुद्र) में हलचल पैदा कर दी। यह दर्शाता है कि यह युद्ध केवल लंका तक सीमित नहीं था, बल्कि इसने प्रकृति के संतुलन को हिला दिया था।
