क्षुब्धानां सागराणां च पातालतलवासिनः ।
व्यथिताः पन्नगाः सर्वे दानवाश्च सहस्रशः ॥६-११०-१८॥
kṣubdhānāṃ sāgarāṇāṃ ca pātālatalavāsinaḥ |
vyathitāḥ pannagāḥ sarve dānavāśca sahasraśaḥ ॥6-110-18॥
Translation
Due to the agitation of the oceans, all the serpents and thousands of Danavas dwelling in the Netherworld became distressed.
हिंदी अनुवाद
सागरों के क्षुब्ध होने से पाताल तल में रहने वाले सभी पन्नग (सर्प) और हजारों दानव व्यथित (परेशान) हो गए।
English Commentary
The impact reached the Netherworld. Serpents and Danavas, dwelling in the deep ocean or Patala, were not safe from this commotion. This describes the magnitude of the Shri Rama-Ravana war.

प्रभाव पाताल लोक तक पहुँचा। पन्नग और दानव, जो गहरे समुद्र या पाताल में रहते हैं, वे भी इस कोलाहल से सुरक्षित नहीं थे। यह श्री राम-रावण युद्ध की व्यापकता (magnitude) का वर्णन है।
