चकम्पे मेदिनी कृत्स्ना सशैलवनकानना ।
भास्करो निष्प्रभश्चासीन्न ववौ चापि मारुतः ॥६-११०-१९॥
cakampe medinī kṛtsnā saśailavanakānanā |
bhāskaro niṣprabhaścāsīnna vavau cāpi mārutaḥ ॥6-110-19॥
Translation
The entire earth, along with mountains, forests, and groves, trembled. The sun became lusterless, and the wind did not blow.
हिंदी अनुवाद
पर्वतों, वनों और काननों सहित पूरी पृथ्वी कांप उठी। सूर्य प्रभाहीन (निस्तेज) हो गया और हवा भी नहीं बही।
English Commentary
Nature was stunned and terrified. The trembling of the earth (earthquake), the sun losing luster, and the wind stopping—all these are signs of apocalypse. The energy of the war disrupted the natural elements.
हिंदी टीका
प्रकृति स्तब्ध और भयभीत थी। पृथ्वी का कांपना (भूकंप), सूर्य का निस्तेज होना और वायु का रुक जाना—ये सब प्रलय के संकेत हैं। युद्ध की ऊर्जा ने प्राकृतिक तत्वों को बाधित कर दिया था।
