ततः क्रुद्धो महाबाहू रघूणां कीर्तिवर्धनः ।
सन्धाय धनुषा रामः क्षुरमाशीविषोपमम् ॥६-११०-२५॥

tataḥ kruddho mahābāhū raghūṇāṃ kīrtivardhanaḥ |
sandhāya dhanuṣā rāmaḥ kṣuramāśīviṣopamam ॥6-110-25॥

Translation

Then, the mighty-armed Shri Rama, the enhancer of the glory of the Raghus, enraged, fixed a 'Kshura' (razor-headed arrow) resembling a venomous snake on his bow...

English Commentary

Now comes the decisive moment. Shri Rama used a 'Kshura' (razor-arrow), designed for slicing. He is called 'Raghunam kirtivardhanah' as he was about to achieve the impossible.

अब निर्णायक क्षण आता है। श्री राम ने 'क्षुर' (उस्तरे जैसा बाण) का प्रयोग किया, जो काटने के लिए प्रयोग होता है। उन्हें 'रघूणां कीर्तिवर्धनः' कहा गया है, क्योंकि वे अब असंभव को संभव करने जा रहे थे।
