English Commentary
This was a matter of concern for Shri Rama. Despite being 'sarvastravit' (knower of all weapons), he couldn't fathom the cause of deathlessness. The adjective 'Kausalyanandavardhanah' might seem paradoxical here, but it reminds us that Shri Rama was born to destroy the wicked, and he will eventually succeed.

श्री राम के लिए यह चिंता का विषय था। 'सर्वस्त्रवित्' होने पर भी वे मृत्यु का कारण नहीं समझ पा रहे थे। 'कौसल्यानन्दवर्धनः' विशेषण यहाँ विरोधाभासी लग सकता है, लेकिन यह याद दिलाता है कि श्री राम का जन्म ही दुष्टों के संहार के लिए हुआ है, और वे अंततः सफल होंगे।
