तदेवं निश्चयं दृष्ट्वा तत्त्वमास्थाय विज्वरः ।
यदिहानन्तरं कार्यं कल्प्यं तदनुचिन्तय ॥६-११२-२०॥
tadevaṃ niścayaṃ dṛṣṭvā tattvamāsthāya vijvaraḥ |
yadihānantaraṃ kāryaṃ kalpyaṃ tadanucintaya ॥6-112-20॥
Translation
Therefore, seeing this certainty and taking refuge in the truth, be free from feverish grief. Consider what duty is to be performed here next.
हिंदी अनुवाद
इसलिए, ऐसा निश्चय देखकर और तत्त्व (यथार्थ) का आश्रय लेकर, सन्तापरहित हो जाओ। इसके बाद यहाँ जो कार्य किया जाना उचित है, उसका विचार करो।
English Commentary
Shri Rama advises Vibhishana to anchor himself in tattva (reality/truth) and cast off his grief (vijvarah). The focus shifts from the past (death) to the immediate future (duty). Shri Rama guides Vibhishana to transition from the role of a grieving brother to that of a responsible executor of rites. This is a call to action, reminding Vibhishana that the dead must be honored by the deeds of the living, not just their tears.
हिंदी टीका
उपदेश का समापन करते हुए, श्री राम विभीषण को 'विज्वर' (ज्वर/संताप से मुक्त) होने का आदेश देते हैं। 'तत्त्व' का अर्थ है आत्मा की अमरता और देह की नश्वरता का ज्ञान। अब समय रोने का नहीं, अपितु 'अनन्तरं कार्यं' (अंत्येष्टि संस्कार) का है। यह कर्मयोग का संदेश है—भावनाओं में बहे बिना कर्तव्य का पालन करना। एक राजा (भावी लंकाधिपति) के रूप में विभीषण को अब जिम्मेदारी उठानी होगी।
