असुरेभ्यः सुरेभ्यो वा पन्नगेभ्यो ऽपि वा तथा ।
न भयं यो विजानाति तस्येदं मानुषाद्भयम् ॥६-११३-१४॥
asurebhyaḥ surebhyo vā pannagebhyo 'pi vā tathā |
na bhayaṃ yo vijānāti tasyedaṃ mānuṣādbhyayam ॥6-113-14॥
Translation
He who knew no fear from Asuras, Gods, or even Nagas, has now met with this terrible fate (death) from a human.
हिंदी अनुवाद
जो असुरों, देवताओं और यहाँ तक कि नागों से भी तनिक भी भय नहीं मानता था, आज उसे एक मनुष्य से यह भयंकर भय (मृत्यु) प्राप्त हुआ है।
English Commentary
This highlights the irony of Ravana's boon, a recurring theme in the Ramayana. While seeking boons from Brahma, Ravana dismissed humans as insignificant and did not ask for protection from them. The women view this 'human' threat as a miraculous play of destiny, showing the limit of hubris where one fails to recognize their own Achilles' heel.

यह रावण के वरदान की वह विडम्बना है जिसे श्री रामायण में बार-बार रेखांकित किया गया है। रावण ने ब्रह्मा जी से वरदान माँगते समय मनुष्यों को तुच्छ समझकर उनसे सुरक्षा नहीं मांगी थी। राक्षसियाँ इस 'मानुष' भय को एक चमत्कार और नियति के खेल के रूप में देख रही हैं। यह अहंकार की उस सीमा को दर्शाता है जहाँ व्यक्ति अपनी सबसे बड़ी कमजोरी को पहचान नहीं पाता।
