दैवं चेष्टयते सर्वं हतं दैवेन हन्यते ।
वानराणां विनाशो ऽयं रक्षसां च महाहवे ॥६-११३-२४॥
daivaṃ ceṣṭayate sarvaṃ hataṃ daivena hanyate |
vānarāṇāṃ vināśo 'yaṃ rakṣasāṃ ca mahāhave ॥6-113-24॥
Translation
Fate (Daiva) impels everything; he who is struck by Fate is the one who is slain. This destruction of both Vanaras and Rakshasas in this great battle is indeed the act of Fate.
हिंदी अनुवाद
सब कुछ दैव (भाग्य) ही संचालित करता है; जो दैव द्वारा मारा गया है, वही मारा जाता है। इस महायुद्ध में वानरों और राक्षसों का जो संहार हुआ है, वह भी दैव का ही खेल है।
English Commentary
This refers to a profound philosophical principle in the Ramayana—the supremacy of Fate ('Daiva'). Ultimately, the Rakshasa women seek refuge in the concept of destiny to pacify their pain. They perceive that destruction occurred on both sides and that a divine or cosmic force was driving it. This reflects the stage of acceptance where one realizes their own helplessness before the cosmic order.

यहाँ श्री रामायण के एक गम्भीर दार्शनिक सिद्धांत—'दैव-प्रबलता'—का उल्लेख है। अंत में राक्षसियाँ अपनी पीड़ा को शांत करने के लिए नियति (Fate) की शरण लेती हैं। वे मानती हैं कि संहार दोनों ओर हुआ है और इसके पीछे कोई ईश्वरीय या दैवीय शक्ति कार्य कर रही थी। यह सत्य को स्वीकार करने की वह अवस्था है जहाँ मनुष्य स्वयं को असहाय अनुभव करता है।
