उत्तरेण विनिष्क्रम्य द्वारेण सह राक्षसैः ।
प्रविश्यायो धनं घोरं विचिन्वन्त्यो हतं पतिम् ॥६-११३-३॥
uttareṇa viniṣkramya dvāreṇa saha rākṣasaiḥ |
praviśyāyo dhanaṃ ghoraṃ vicinvantyo hataṃ patim ॥6-113-3॥
Translation
Exiting through the northern gate along with other Rakshasas, they entered the terrible battlefield, searching for their slain husband.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वे उत्तर द्वार से अन्य राक्षसों के साथ बाहर निकलकर उस भयंकर युद्धभूमि में प्रविष्ट हुईं और अपने मारे गए पति को ढूँढने लगीं।
English Commentary
The battlefield is called 'Ghora' (terrible) due to the heaps of corpses and blood. These delicate women, who had never ventured outside the palaces, were now searching through that ghastly site for their lord. This scene illustrates both their desperate love and the cataclysm that had overtaken their lives.

युद्धभूमि को 'घोर' (भयानक) कहा गया है क्योंकि वहाँ शवों और रक्त का अंबार लगा था। सुकोमल स्त्रियां, जो कभी महलों से बाहर नहीं निकली थीं, अब उस वीभत्स स्थान पर अपने स्वामी को खोज रही हैं। यह दृश्य उनके साहसी प्रेम और साथ ही उनके जीवन में आए प्रलय को दर्शाता है।
