उद्धृत्य च भुजौ काचिद्भूमौ स्म परिवर्तते ।
हतस्य वदनं दृष्ट्वा काचिन्मोहमुपागमत् ॥६-११३-९॥
uddhṛtya ca bhujau kācid bhūmau sma parivartate |
hatasya vadanaṃ dṛṣṭvā kācinmohamupāgamat ॥6-113-9॥
Translation
One woman, raising her arms, rolled on the ground; and another, looking at the face of her slain husband, fell into a swoon.
हिंदी अनुवाद
कोई अपनी भुजाएं ऊपर उठाकर विलाप करती हुई भूमि पर लोट रही थी और कोई अपने मारे गए पति का मुख देखकर मूर्छित हो गई।
English Commentary
The physical manifestations of intense grief are portrayed here. Raising arms in lamentation is a universal sign of despair. Seeing Ravana's face—once radiant with power—now lifeless, shattered the queens' composure. Fainting ('Moham') indicates the severity of their psychological trauma.

पीड़ा के शारीरिक प्रदर्शन का यहाँ चित्रण है। 'भुजौ उद्धृत्य' (हाथ उठाकर) विलाप करना गहन दुःख का प्रतीक है। रावण के उस भयानक मुख को, जो कभी तेज से दमकता था, अब निष्प्राण देखकर रानियों का धैर्य टूट गया। मूर्च्छा (मोहम्) उनके मानसिक आघात की गम्भीरता को सूचित करती है।
