प्रचक्रू राक्षसेन्द्रस्य पितृमेधमनुक्रमम् ।
वेदिं च दक्षिणप्राच्यां यथास्थानं च पावकम् ॥६-११४-१०६॥
pracakrū rākṣasendrasya pitṛmedhamanukramam |
vediṃ ca dakṣiṇaprācyāṃ yathāsthānaṃ ca pāvakam ॥6-114-106॥
Translation
They performed the Pitrimedha (ancestral rites) for the Lord of Rakshasas in due order. They placed the altar in the south-east direction and the fire in its proper place.

उन्होंने राक्षसराज का पितृमेध (अंत्येष्टि) विधिवत किया। दक्षिण-पूर्व दिशा (आग्नेय कोण) में वेदी बनाई और यथास्थान अग्नि स्थापित की।
