यदैव वानरैर्घोरैर्बद्धः सेतुर्महार्णवे ।
तदैव हृदयेनाहं शङ्के रामममानुषम् ॥६-११४-११॥
yadaiva vānarairghorairbaddhaḥ seturmahārṇave |
tadaiva hṛdayenāhaṃ śaṅke rāmamamānuṣam ॥6-114-11॥
Translation
When a bridge was built over the great ocean by the formidable monkeys, at that very moment, I suspected in my heart that Shri Rama is not a human.
हिंदी अनुवाद
जब भयानक वानरों द्वारा महासागर पर सेतु (पुल) बांध दिया गया, तभी मैंने अपने हृदय में शंका कर ली थी कि श्री राम मनुष्य नहीं हैं।
English Commentary
The construction of the Setu (bridge) across the ocean was the final definitive proof. Controlling the elements to such a degree is not a human capability. Mandodari confesses that this act solidified her internal conviction that Shri Rama was 'amanusham' (non-human/divine). While Ravana dismissed these feats, Mandodari's intuition correctly identified them as divine interventions, showcasing her superior wisdom and spiritual insight.
हिंदी टीका
समुद्र पर पत्थरों का तैरना और पुल का निर्माण—यह प्रकृति के नियमों के विरुद्ध था। मन्दोदरी कहती हैं कि उसी क्षण उनके मन में यह बात पक्की हो गई थी कि श्री राम साधारण मानव नहीं, अपितु कोई अवतारी पुरुष हैं। 'अमानुषम्' (मनुष्य नहीं) शब्द यहाँ श्री राम के ईश्वरत्व की स्वीकृति है। मन्दोदरी की प्रज्ञा रावण से कहीं अधिक थी, क्योंकि उसने चमत्कारों को सही संदर्भ में देखा, जबकि रावण ने उन्हें जादू या छल समझा।
