अरुन्धत्या विशिष्टां तां रोहिण्याश्चापि दुर्मते ।
सीतां धर्षयता मान्यां त्वया असदृशं कृतम् ॥६-११४-२१॥
arundhatyā viśiṣṭāṃ tāṃ rohiṇyāścāpi durmate |
sītāṃ dharṣayatā mānyāṃ tvayā asadṛśaṃ kṛtam ॥6-114-21॥
Translation
O Evil-minded one! By violating (abducting) the honorable Sita, who is superior even to Arundhati and Rohini, you have done a deed unworthy of you.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे दुर्मति! अरुंधति और रोहिणी से भी विशिष्ट (बढ़कर) उस माननीय सीता का तिरस्कार (अपहरण) करके तुमने अपने अयोग्य (नीच) कर्म किया।
English Commentary
Mandodari reveres Sita, comparing her favorably to the paragons of chastity, Arundhati and Rohini. Calling Ravana durmate (evil-minded), she condemns the abduction not just as a strategic error but as a moral outrage. Violating a woman of such high spiritual caliber was an act asadrisham (unworthy/unbecoming) of Ravana's stature, marking the depth of his moral degradation.

मन्दोदरी सीता की तुलना अरुंधति (वसिष्ठ पत्नी) और रोहिणी (चन्द्र पत्नी) से करती हैं, जो पातिव्रत्य की प्रतीक हैं। सीता को उनसे भी 'विशिष्ट' बताकर मन्दोदरी सीता के सतीत्व को सर्वोच्च स्थान देती हैं। वे रावण को 'दुर्मति' कहती हैं क्योंकि सीता जैसी देवी का अपमान करना वीरों का काम नहीं, बल्कि कायरों और नीच बुद्धि वालों का काम है।
