Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
रावणस्य वधं घोरं राघवस्य पराक्रमम् ।
सुयुद्धं वानराणां च सुग्रीवस्य च मन्त्रितम् ॥६-११५-२॥
rāvaṇasya vadhaṃ ghoraṃ rāghavasya parākramam |
suyuddhaṃ vānarāṇāṃ ca sugrīvasya ca mantritam ॥6-115-2॥
Translation
They discussed the terrible destruction of Ravana, the prowess of Shri Rama, the excellent fighting of the monkeys, and the wise counsel offered by Sugriva.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वे रावण के उस भयंकर वध, श्री रघुनाथ जी के पराक्रम, वानरों के उत्तम युद्ध और सुग्रीव की मन्त्रणा (कूटनीति) की चर्चा कर रहे थे।
English Commentary
The primary reasons for the victory are analyzed here. It wasn't just Shri Rama’s prowess; the collective effort of the Vanaras and Sugriva’s 'Mantritam' (strategic counsel) were equally vital. This verse conveys that for the achievement of any great goal, the union of strength and wisdom is mandatory. The Gods' praise for Sugriva validates his capable leadership.

यहाँ विजय के मुख्य कारणों का विश्लेषण किया गया है। केवल श्री राम का पराक्रम ही नहीं, बल्कि वानरों का सामूहिक परिश्रम और सुग्रीव की 'मन्त्रणा' (रणनीतिक सलाह) भी अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण थी। यह श्लोक यह संदेश देता है कि किसी भी बड़े लक्ष्य की प्राप्ति के लिए शक्ति और बुद्धि (परामर्श) का मेल अनिवार्य है। देवताओं द्वारा सुग्रीव की प्रशंसा उनके कुशल नेतृत्व को सिद्ध करती है।
