राघवेणाभ्यनुज्ञातो मातलिः शक्रसारथिः ।
दिव्यं तं रथमास्थाय दिवमेवारुरोह सः ॥६-११५-५॥
rāghaveṇābhyanujñāto mātaliḥ śakrasārathiḥ |
divyaṃ taṃ rathamāsthāya divamevārauroha saḥ ॥6-115-5॥
Translation
Having received permission from Shri Rama, Matali, the charioteer of Indra, mounted that divine chariot and ascended toward the heavens.
हिंदी अनुवाद
श्री रघुनाथ जी से आज्ञा पाकर इन्द्र के सारथी मातलि उस दिव्य रथ पर सवार होकर स्वर्ग (देवलोक) की ओर चले गए।
English Commentary
Matali’s departure signals that the need for extraordinary divine assistance had concluded. Shri Rama was now to resume His earthly duties and establish 'Maryada' (order). This verse depicts the conclusion of the union between human and divine forces that together brought an end to unrighteousness.

मातलि का विदा होना इस बात का संकेत है कि अब असाधारण दैवीय सहायता की आवश्यकता समाप्त हो चुकी थी। श्री राम अब पुनः पृथ्वी के कार्यों और मर्यादाओं को संभालने वाले थे। यह श्लोक मानवीय और दैवीय शक्तियों के उस मिलन के समापन का चित्रण है जिसने अधर्म का अंत किया।
