इति प्रतिसमादिष्टो हनुमान् मारुतात्मजः ।
प्रविवेश पुरीं लङ्कां पूज्यमानो निशाचरैः ॥६-११६-१॥
iti pratisamādiṣṭo hanumān mārutātmajaḥ |
praviveśa purīṃ laṅkāṃ pūjyamāno niśācaraiḥ ॥6-116-1॥
Translation
Having been thus commanded (by Shri Rama), Hanuman, the son of the Wind-god, entered the city of Lanka, being honored by the night-wanderers (Rakshasas).

इस प्रकार (श्री राम द्वारा) आदेश प्राप्त करके, वायुपुत्र हनुमान ने निशाचरों द्वारा सम्मानित होते हुए लंका पुरी में प्रवेश किया।
English Commentary
The dramatic reversal of circumstances is noteworthy here. The same Hanuman who previously entered Lanka as a 'destroyer' and 'enemy' now enters as an 'envoy' and 'representative of the victors'. The Rakshasas honoring him is visible proof of the regime change and Shri Rama's victory. This blend of fear and reverence highlights the impact of Hanuman's personality.

परिस्थितियों का नाटकीय परिवर्तन यहाँ दर्शनीय है। वही हनुमान जो पहले एक 'विनाशक' और 'शत्रु' के रूप में लंका आए थे, अब एक 'दूत' और 'विजयी पक्ष के प्रतिनिधि' के रूप में प्रवेश कर रहे हैं। राक्षसों द्वारा उनका 'पूजन' (सम्मान) करना सत्ता परिवर्तन और श्री राम की विजय का प्रत्यक्ष प्रमाण है। भय और श्रद्धा का यह मिश्रण हनुमान जी के व्यक्तित्व के प्रभाव को दर्शाता है।
