दिष्ट्या जीवसि धर्मज्ञे जयेन मम संयुगे ।
लब्धो नो विजयः सीते स्वस्था भव गतव्यथा ॥६-११६-१०॥
diṣṭyā jīvasi dharmajñe jayena mama saṃyuge |
labdho no vijayaḥ sīte svasthā bhava gatavyathā ॥6-116-10॥
Translation
"O Knower of Dharma! Luckily you are alive, and I have won the battle. O Sita! Victory is ours; become comfortable and free from sorrow."
हिंदी अनुवाद
"हे धर्मज्ञे! सौभाग्य से तुम जीवित हो और युद्ध में मेरी जीत हुई है। हे सीते! हमने विजय प्राप्त कर ली है, अब तुम व्यथा छोड़कर स्वस्थ (निश्चिंत) हो जाओ।"
English Commentary
'Dishtya jivasi' (Luckily you are alive)—this phrase reflects the long and arduous duration of the war. Shri Rama knew Sita was under the shadow of death every moment. Now she is reassured to be 'svastha' (composed/at ease).
हिंदी टीका
'दिष्ट्या जीवसि' (सौभाग्य से तुम जीवित हो)—यह वाक्य युद्ध की लंबी और कठिन अवधि को दर्शाता है। श्री राम जानते थे कि सीता हर पल मृत्यु के साये में थीं। अब उन्हें 'स्वस्था' (अपने में स्थित/शांत) होने का आश्वासन दिया जा रहा है।
