YUDDHA KANDA•SARGA: 116•SHLOKA: 21
राज्यं वा त्रिषु लोकेषु नैतदर्हति भाषितम् ।
एवमुक्तस्तु वैदेह्या प्रत्युवाच प्लवङ्गमः ॥६-११६-२१॥
rājyaṃ vā triṣu lokeṣu naitadarhati bhāṣitam |
evamuktastu vaidehyā pratyuvāca plavaṅgamaḥ ॥6-116-21॥
Translation
"Even the sovereignty over the three worlds does not deserve (is not worth) this message." Being spoken to thus by Vaidehi, the Monkey replied.
हिंदी अनुवाद
"तीनों लोकों का राज्य भी इस वाणी (समाचार) के योग्य नहीं है।" वैदेही द्वारा ऐसा कहे जाने पर वानर (हनुमान) ने उत्तर दिया।
English Commentary
Sita makes it clear that the news of Shri Rama's victory surpasses even the 'sovereignty of the three worlds'. This is the pinnacle of love. Hanuman's reply (in the next verse) is equally sublime.
हिंदी टीका
सीता जी ने स्पष्ट कर दिया कि श्री राम की विजय का समाचार 'त्रिलोक राज्य' से भी बढ़कर है। यह प्रेम की पराकाष्ठा है। हनुमान जी का उत्तर (अगले श्लोक में) भी उतना ही उदात्त है।
