तस्यास्तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा प्रत्युवाच विभीषणः ।
यदाह राजा भर्ता ते तत्तथा कर्तुमर्हसि ॥६-११७-११॥
tasyāstadvacanaṃ śrutvā pratyuvāca vibhīṣaṇaḥ |
yadāha rājā bhartā te tattathā kartumarhasi ॥6-117-11॥
Translation
Hearing her words, Vibhishana replied: "You ought to do exactly what the King, your husband, has said."
हिंदी अनुवाद
उनका वह वचन सुनकर विभीषण ने उत्तर दिया—'आपके पति और राजा (श्री राम) ने जो कहा है, आपको वैसा ही करना चाहिए।'
English Commentary
Vibhishana gently insists on compliance. He emphasizes that Shri Rama is not just her husband but the 'Raja' (King). His command carries authority that should not be questioned. This hints at the formal nature of the upcoming reunion.

विभीषण यहाँ एक सेवक और मंत्री की भूमिका में हैं। वे सीताजी को समझाते हैं कि यह केवल पति की इच्छा नहीं, बल्कि 'राजा' की आज्ञा है। अनुशासन का पालन आवश्यक है। श्रीश्री राम की आज्ञा का उल्लंघन उचित नहीं होगा।
